The Rev. Daniel S. Johnson of Marshalltown, Iowa, assists in compiling articles for the newsletter and editing.  He is currently President of the SLMS and formerly worked as LCMS Area Representative to Eurasia — Church Relations.  He continues to travel regularly to Siberia.

Mr. Bob Kiefer serves as the Secretary/Treasurer. He handles the daily business of the Society and receive the donations at Ascension Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, IN.  He can be contacted here.

The Rev. Larry Beane serves as the Newsletter editor. 

The Rev. Kent Peck serves as Pastor of Wheat Ridge Lutheran Church in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  He became a Board Member in 2013 and is our Assistant Treasurer.  He is a 2008 graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Rev. Peck works closely with the newsletter editor and compiles the newsletter several times each year and coordinates its mailing.

The Rev. Dr. Timothy Quill has served as Director of the Russian Project at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN since 1996. In this position, he has traveled extensively to Russia and the former nations of the Soviet Union, overseen the recruitment of approximately 40 students from Russia and the C.I.S. to study on the Fort Wayne campus; assisted in the establishment of Lutheran Theological Seminary in Novosibirsk, Siberia; and organized theological seminaries in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and Lithuania. Since 2002, he has served as Dean of International Studies at CTS and teaches liturgy,homiletics and missions. Dr. Quill and his wife Annette have one daughter, Kathryn.

The Rev. Terry Small serves as the Siberian Lutheran Mission Society Development Advisor.  He retired December 31, 2016 after serving St. John’s Lutheran Church, Homestead, IA and The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Wellman, IA since November 2011. Pastor Small, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO, has served congregations in Minnesota and Missouri. He also served as the Executive Director of Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca, the Iowa District East camp, for five years. Before his ordination in 1995, Pastor Small was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force flying the F-4, OV-10, and F-16 aircraft as instructor pilot, flight examiner, and test pilot for 10 years. After leaving the USAF he helped raise capital for new companies in Texas and the midwest. Later he served as the Director of Admissions for Concordia University, Austin, TX. He has written several LifeLight Bible studies for Concordia Publishing House (CPH) and is a contributor to the Lutheran Study Bible. Pastor Small has been married to Debby for nearly 42 years. They have two grown children living in Iowa. He and Debby are currently on the road traveling around the country in their RV with their two dogs.

Mr. Jeremy Clifton serves as the Webmaster of the SLMS. He and his wife Margie (née Pacey) reside in Bastrop, Texas, and attend Grace Lutheran Church in Smithville, Texas. On the weekends they often can be found on the back roads of rural Texas taking photos and searching for good brisket.
